Mo Wah Chan

Mo Wah Chan is a recent master graduate of the Royal College of Music, majoring in organ performance. She studies organ with David Graham and Margaret Phillips; and piano with Nigel Clayton. She received her bachelor degree in music from Hong Kong Baptist University. Her teachers in Hong Kong included Yuen Tin Lok, Chiu Siu Ling and Wong Kin Yu. Whilst as the Royal College of Music, she has played in the master classes with Dame Gillian Weir and Thomas Trotter. She took part in the featured study tour in the Netherlands and Hamburg and attended master classes held by Pieter van Dijk, Jacques van Oortmerssen and Bernard Winsemius.

As a soloist, she made her debut in Hong Kong Cultural Centre in 2002 and subsequently performed in different music halls and churches. Besides, she has given recitals in central London included Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, the Royal College of Music and All Saints Church in High Wycombe. Her future performing includes recital in Halberstadt, Germany.

Mo Wah is a church music enthusiast. She has been the organist of the Tai Po Baptist Church and University Baptist Church for many years. She also served as accompanist of the Sacred Singer. In addition, she has participated in the accompaniment recording for the Universal Hymn of Praise Congregation selection. And in London, she was deputized as the assistant organist in Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church and other churches in central London.
