| Alan
Tsang studied at Royal College of Music, London. During 2001-2002
academic year he was awarded a Choral Scholarship at St Martin-in-the-Fields,
Trafalgar Square. On concert platform Alan has performed with
various London groups. He has appeared at Dartington Festival
and also extensively with the RCM Chamber Choir, working with
conductors such as Paul Spicer, Sir Charles Mackerras and Peter
Schreier.
Opera roles include Masetto Don Giovanni, Amibeleich Samon
et Dalila, Melchior Amahl and the Night Visitors, Grenu Ciboulette
and Bernardino Benvenuto Cellini. Scenes at the RCM include
Oreste Iphigénie en Tauride and Geronimo Il matrimonio
segreto.
Recently he performed at the London reception celebrating the
tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region. Alan has taken part in masterclasses
with Sarah Walker, John Mitchinson, Stephen Varcoe and Peter
Harvey. A keen recitalist, he has particular interests in the
German and French song repertoire. Alan studies with Jennifer
Smith.
