Applications

The deadline for applications to the 2008 festival is 1st June 2008.

Completed application forms, cheques for the application fee of £40 (for up to three works) and a copy of the score(s) should be sent to:

An acknowledgement will be sent for all applications received . Late applications will only be considered if space is available.

Applicants will be notified whether their work has been accepted for inclusion by the 30th June 2008. A sale-ready copy of the score must be sent to the festival organiser by 31st July at the latest, if a working copy was submitted with the application form.

The organisers will decide the running order for exhibition-concerts, and attempt to maintain a sense of musical balance at the same time as including as many works as possible.

If the number of works selected exceeds the space available in this year's festival, the organisers will decide which works are to be included in the 2008 festival and which will be transferred to the 2009 festival. Any work transferred will be guaranteed a place in the next festival. The organiser's decision in these matters is final.
