PLG Young Artists
creating opportunity for young musicians

Application deadline: 1st April 2009

AFNOM has joined forces with the Park Lane Group to enable organists to become PLG Young Artists regularly for the first time. Since the PLG was formed in 1956 to provide a platform for highly talented young artists, organists have not had the same opportunities as other instruments due to organs being unavailable at the Southbank Centre and Wigmore Hall. This is a significant collaboration which will foster a new generation of ambassadors for living composers and their work. Successful organists will have the benefit of wide publicity and the chance to be heard by composers and organists from all around the world.

Organists under the age of 29 can audition to perform one of four PLG recitals at major venues during AFNOM each year.

Successful candidates will be offered recital opportunities as part of AFNOM at prestigious London venues.
